BioI hate talking about myself ... talking about myself is SO boring... The only reason I am doing this is because of miseichan saying I needed to do something about it so here goes...
Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Strict Christian household. I am a basic Geri-Goth (too old to sport wacky styles but can still look great as a corporate Goth!) I went to school for Art and Drama but now it is more of a hobby than anything. Worked in so many different jobs that I honestly can not say that I have any "career". If something interested me I tried it. I have done everything from acting, dance and crafts to cashier, receptionist and proof operator! I have been a homemaker for the past few years but it is because my boyfriend and I are redoing an old abandoned city house to live in.
I have tried to learn several languages (French, Hindi, Romanian, German, Japanese) and I suck at all of them! :lol: Even my boyfriend (who speaks fluent German and is learning Korean!) laughs at my inability to absorb anything besides English! I am still struggling with Japanese but it is all in fun for me. I love the challenge!
I LOVE music! I don't just like it and listen to it... I LOVE IT! And I listen to everything that I can. I will try anything and if I don't like it then I don't listen again but I have found something in every musical form that I have liked. My main loves are Gothic/Darkwave/Industrial and JRock! Can't get enough!!! BUCK-TICK is my hands down all time favorite group! Even their "bad" music is great IMO! :lol:
I am a big Star Trek fan! Fought to keep Enterprise on the air when it was cancelled and I still love all of the Trek shows. (Well except some of Voyager :lol:) I also love Red Dwarf and Sci-Fi as a whole. I love anything that has dark and humorous overtones to it as well. The Addams Family, Tim Burton, drawings by Edward Gorey, etc. I am also a big Potterhead. Read all of the books and sad that the last one is coming... Snape is hot... And yes I mean the cruel, greasy one in the book not just the movie version... I am weird like that... I love to read and I never know what is going to catch my interest.
Okay now here comes the wierdness that throws people off... I also love Bollywood films, JDramas, and gardening. There I said it... Laugh if you must. I am not even the most romantic person but I just love this stuff!
I also love astrology, numerology and the occult. Fascinated by the New Age stuff and I really believe that everyone is somehow connected whether they like it or not. I love to read about other cultures and history. The way that people think is extremely interesting to me. (I wanted to be a psychologist when I was a child but then I started questioning the sanity of that! :lol:) I am blunt and always straightforward. If you don't like the truth then don't ask me! I don't intentionally hurt others with the truth but I hate a lie. The truth is so much easier.
I will probably not add anything to my page for some time because I have no idea what to add!!! :LOL: If you have similar interest you can add me and I will most likely add you back. But I will admit that I do tend to stay on the shy side so only add me with this understanding please. :)
